Strawberry Banana Surprise

Recipe created to by our in-house Naturopath and Nutritionist Jade Anstey to keep even the fussiest of eaters happy.

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup frozen banana
2 cups coconut milk
1 teaspoon vanilla powder
½ orange capsicum

Orange capsicum works well in smoothies as it has a milder flavour than other peppers. I find my kids don’t notice a flavour change unless I use fresh banana instead of frozen. Frozen banana provide a creamier texture (like ice cream), which my kids love. You can pre cut and freeze bananas or if you’re all about efficiency like me, I buy the pre cut frozen banana from the supermarket.
